Every year, as the holiday season wraps up, we at West Springfield Boys & Girls Club are incredibly grateful to look back at the support our kids and families received from the West Springfield community! The first donation we want to celebrate are the ready-to-cook holiday meals for 40 families, reaching over 200 individuals, generously donated by Pintu Chawla of Pintu's Indian Restaurant. This thoughtful donation ensured that many families in our community could celebrate the holidays with a warm and delicious meal. Additionally, the West Springfield 99 made our "Drop n Shop" event extra special by providing dinner for 30 kids, giving parents a chance to shop while their children enjoyed a warm meal and fun activities In addition to nourishing our community, the holiday season also brought delightful surprises for the children. Thanks to the kindness of Adam and Jenn Southworth of Titan Tree, more than 60 children received brand new bikes and scooters, bringing smiles and excitement to their faces. The joy didn’t stop there; our 2024 toy drive saw toys donated by the West Springfield 99, All States Materials Group, Central Chevrolet, and DiGrigoli School. These gifts brought happiness and festive cheer to our young members, making their holiday season truly unforgettable. Ten Club families were also able to "deck the halls" with real Christmas trees, complete with decorations, donated by Dave and Chelsea Pighetti, Bethany Calabrese, and Joe Judge. Their generosity really added to the magic of the season! We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters for their incredible contributions. Your generosity not only brightened our holiday season but also reinforced the strong sense of community that makes West Springfield such a wonderful place to call home |
