With 18 different vendors in attendance, nearly 300 guests sipped beers from local breweries like Two Weeks Notice Brewing and Skyline Brewing Company, enjoyed handcrafted cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and tried healthy – yet tasty – teas from NutritionFirst. The smell of delicious food from celebrated restaurants like Wood N Tap, 110 Grill, Crazy Seafood, Donut Dip, Richard’s Grinders, and many more filled the air, while a live DJ from Visual Sound Productions created beats that filled up an impromptu dance floor.
Our very own trustee, Chris Dunphy, and Mayor Will Reichelt tag teamed the live auction, sponsored by bankESB. Guests took home prizes like tickets to the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Enshrinement Ceremony, Dinner for 10 at the West Springfield Fire Department, a 3-day stay at Napa Valley’s Hall Winery, Botox & spa treatments, VIP dining experiences, sporting event tickets and more. Meanwhile, the online auction included golf foursomes, outdoor games and accessories, a will package, and an opportunity to create and name your own Sorrento’s pizza.
Our goal was to raise $55k towards funding Before & After School Program Scholarships, and other Club programming. In the end, thanks to our many incredible sponsors, vendors, donors, and guests, we surpassed our original goal and raised over $56k! These funds will go towards helping offset the cost of Club membership for families in need, as well as purchasing arts supplies, S.T.E.M. equipment and other materials needed to keep our programs running. A special shout-out goes to our Champagne sponsor, Pintu’s Indian Restaurant; our porch sponsor, Kelley & Katzer Real Estate; and to Love, Tito’s, who matched $5,000 from ticket sales, donations, and auction sales.
