It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and for the first time since 2019 the Holiday Tour of Homes was back to its traditional, in-person format! The day dawned a little dreary, but the inside of each home was merry and bright. Tour-goes saw five fabulous homes, along with the West Springfield Public Library, Storrowton Carriage House, and a Craft & Vendor Fair at the Boys & Girls Club in the Sullivan Family Gym. With the help of the homeowners, committee members, community partners, and sponsors, over $20,000 was raised towards Club programming and scholarships for families in need of financial aid.

We want to thank the homeowners: Jack and Lorri Twaddle, Brian Rolph and Kelly St. Pierre, Adam and Kara Dasso, Christian and Jessica Caruso, and Danny and Therese McCarthy for opening their beautifully decorated homes to over 400 tour-goers. Attendees purchased candles from Pilgrim Candle Company, viewed flower arrangements from local florists like Durocher Florist, Floral Concepts by Tom and The Flower Stop, and were able to enjoy a delicious lunch at the historic Storrowton Carriage House. At the Club on Main Street, a Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair with over 40 vendors filled with community members shopping for baked goods and handmade crafts while sipping hot chocolate. Meanwhile, kids created snowflakes and other ornaments in our Kids Craft room.

In addition to providing a safe and enriching environment to nearly 700 local youth each year, West Springfield Boys & Girls Club is a place where the community can come together through events like the Holiday Tour of Homes. From our “Little Futures” Preschool to our Teen Programs, our mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” In coming together for this holiday tradition, tour-goers supported this mission and made wonderful memories with family and friends. As pictures are the perfect way to store such memories, we hope you’ll check out the photos below!
