This year, Eastern States Exposition and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame are hosting the northeast’s first-ever ultimate 3×3 tournament and festival! Mark your calendars for the weekend of June 23rd, 2023 and celebrate the birthplace of basketball across more than 70 courts at the Big E grounds, with showcase games at the Hall of Fame. Team registration is open now at www.Hooplandia.com, but even if you don’t play basketball there are plenty of ways to get involved. With seventeen different divisions to choose from, there is a place for everyone on the courts, and children under 8 and participants in the Special Olympics category can participate free of charge.
Hooplandia has designated Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Western Massachusetts as its philanthropic partner. This means that out of every team registration, $10 will go towards supporting local Clubs, including West Springfield Boys and Girls Club! Hooplandia is also working with regional businesses to underwrite the cost of team registrations for young Club members throughout the region. We at West Springfield Boys & Girls Club are thrilled for our youth to experience this tournament, and our members have been working hard on their basketball skills in preparation.
A few days ago, representatives from Hooplandia stopped by our Club to hype up the tournament and pass out some swag to our April Vacation Week participants.
