The 41st Annual Golf “Fore” Our Kids Tournament was held on June 24th, 2024 at a new course: Springfield Country Club. But that wasn’t the only first for this event! For the first time in West Springfield Boys & Girls Club history, a single fundraiser reached a six-figure achievement! The Golf “Fore” Our Kids Tournament successfully grossed $101,284 in support towards Summer Camp Scholarships for children!!

The day started out with decadent breakfast sandwiches donated by Partner’s Restaurant, and golfers enjoyed samples of Two Weeks Notice Beer and Tito’s vodka on the course. At mid-day, both the morning and afternoon flights gathered for a delicious lunch, made possible by Food & Beverage Sponsors star Network Group, HUB New England, Arrha Credit Union, Freedom Credit Union, Westfield Gas & Electric, TD Bank and Health New England. Golfers from both flights returned for a cocktail reception sponsored by Brown & Brown, Toomey O’Brien, Professional Drywall Construction, Ormsby Insurance, DeRenzy Business Technologies, Titan Tree, Genrose Stone & Tile and ES Countertops, and had the opportunity to win over 60 unique raffle prizes!
The funds raised will provide countless children with the opportunity to experience the joy and growth that comes from attending summer camp. These scholarships will give kids from various backgrounds a chance to build lifelong skills, make new friends, and create cherished memories. Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed to this milestone achievement. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated, and we are excited to carry this momentum forward into the future!
